does anyone have any info on the surplus that left the base a month or so ago? was to be heading to NZ then to an auction yard in sunny California within the next few weeks. please drop me a line at stvolmer@msn.com if there is a cargo manifest or if anyone has some insight to what will be showing up here.there are a good number of us hoping that some of the older “snow cats” will be on that load.

Thought we covered this in a previous posting.  None of us have access to the manifest of what’s actually on the vessel, but we didn’t see any Sno-Cats going onboard.  Like I had mentioned in that earlier post – we keep that stuff around forever.

Also, Skua77 had provided a website to you regarding the auction:

I did see a Pisten Bully tracked snow machine going on the vessel. Whether it was going to auction or going to be repaired, I haven’t a clue. My guess is they are too new to be auctioned, unless it is so broken they can’t fix it.

If you are an electrician, this would be a good one to visit.
