South Pole doc on the Weather Channel

So I’m channel surfing tonight and ran across a documentary about Pole and in particular Dr. Jerri Nielsen. The series is called “When Weather Changed History”. I don’t know what they have named the episode.

Anybody know if it’s a new one or has it been circulating for a while?

They’re using a lot of the time lapse footage that Antz made. I find that kind of funny because they are constantly mixing footage of Mcmurdo in with Pole.

Its the first I’ve heard of that one. I checked the weather channel webpage, but it’s not on one of their featured webcasts.

It’s the same one.  I’ve seen it twice on the Weather Channel the past few months.

put antarctica into the search window. The stories are pretty interesting. I never really heard the military side of trying to fly a c130 down when it was still that cold at the pole.
