Looking for people who Knew Richie Skane

Hi all,

I’m going to propose naming an Antarctic geographical feature after Richie Skane. If you knew Richie please help us document when and where he was on the Ice and his contributions to the program.

Glenn, who is Richie Skane?  I don’t think I’ve ever heard the name before. The person I always thought should have something named for him is Commander.

Hi Mike,

Richie was the facilities coordinator (and other positions?) at Palmer for a number of years.

Yup, I’m sure cmdr knows him. I’m just fishing for others who might also have worked with Richie. I’ve already received a lot of positive responses — the email snowball has grown to include people I haven’t heard of in years.
