Video streaming may or may not work… depends on how you’re doing it. Stuff like Youtube is typically do-able, but if it involves high bandwidth, installing a proprietary software package, or uses a port other than 8080 or the usual HTTP/Internet surfing ports then maybe not.
A lot of the limitations are because of the very limited bandwidth and also security concerns. Specialty video streaming, like teleconferencing, is sometimes available — but there may be a hole in the firewall created just for that (or else across a VPN), and it often soaks up all of a station’s bandwidth, so it’s usually reserved for important meetings or medical consultations.
