My take on BDP is that the whole thing is true, however it’s somewhat slanted toward the things about working for a company that frustrate employees. The things there are the same things that can be said about every single large corporation in the world. To me it’s sort of like a Dilbert comic strip that applies one company. The humor applies across the board and we can all relate to it. But, it’s still not the total story.
I find the BDP writers to be exceptionally talented. Whether they were working here, at a mining corportation, a stock brokerage, or an auto plant, they would find interesting anomalies between the workers and the company to write about. I hope the BDP books becomes a best seller.
